Ever thought of renting a gite in Normandy?

As a region of France it is very much intertwined with this country, from Joan of Arc to the more recent history of the D-Day landings in 1944. We have Richard the Lionheart and of course, one of our early kings, William the “Conqueror” of England. Everything in Normandy seems vaguely familiar, yet foreign; it’s hard to put your finger on it exactly.
